“We had been a catless household since losing our bonded sibling cats in 2021 and early 2022. We knew we wanted a bonded pair, and a few days before Christmas 2022 I saw an NHS Facebook post about a bonded trio that were looking to be adopted together. I talked to my husband and we decided what’s one more?
We made an appointment on Dec. 26, 2022. We met all three, the NHS staffer asked if we needed some time to think about it. We looked at each other and said “nope, we’ll take them!”
Meet NHS Mittens and her sons NHS Shadow and NHS Apollo. We kept their names as they knew them. Shadow actually runs to the door to greet my husband every day when he comes home from work. We hit the jackpot with these three, we could not love them more! Kudos to the NHS staff and volunteers for keeping them happy and socialized until they found their furever home!”
