‘We got along wonderfully’ April 10, 2025
“In the early summer months of 2007, my then 10-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son visited NHS in hopes of finding my next furry, cuddly and loving kitties.
They called me to tell me I had to go there ASAP and check out two kittens. I made it to NHS the next day and fell in love with two domestic brother and sister kittens. One was a female cream color and the other a male slate colored. I adopted them and we got along wonderfully for over 16 years. They lived with me in Nebraska, Florida and back to Nebraska.
Sadly, Snoopy, male cat, passed away in August 2023 and Loopy, female cat, passed away four months later in December 2023. I truly miss them and have decided to no longer adopt any new cats despite my love for them. Thank you NHS for providing pets loving homes for so many years.”
