‘We cannot thank NHS enough’ July 22, 2025

“My husband and I have been together almost 27 years and have adopted seven animals together from the Nebraska Humane Society over those years, as well as fostered once. Our experience with NHS has always been amazing.

All of our animals, with the exception of one, have either been strays we’ve taken in, adoptees or pets people re-homed. I fully believe in the mantra “adopt don’t shop.”

Our dream jobs going into retirement would be to eventually own some sort of animal sanctuary. We cannot thank NHS enough for the amazing work they do!”
