‘Ready to open our hearts’ June 18, 2025

“We adopted Momo at the end of November 2024 as a friend for our other dog, Rosco. We tragically lost two dogs in a year, and I know we were both feeling lonely and ready to open our hearts.

I saw Momo’s picture on the Nebraska Humane Society website and fell in love. The first time I met him, he picked his leash up and brought it to me almost like he was telling me to take him home!

I couldn’t say no, and he came home with us that day. He’s been so fun, and he’s learned a lot. He’s a huge snuggle bug, loves food and, of course, his fur brother Rosco and his sister (our 5 year old). We wouldn’t know how to live without our Momo!”
