‘My first cat and actual soulmate’ June 4, 2025

I adopted Bongo (formerly known as Nox) on July 26, 2024! He is my first cat and actual soulmate.

He sits on my shoulder like a parrot, cuddles like it’s his job and is always up to play. I moved back to Nebraska and with only a few hundred dollars to my name, decided I’d adopt a cat and buy a bed (yes, in that order). It has turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made as I’ve found my best friend.

Bongo is such a sweetie. I’m a teacher, and I have students asking me about Bongo every single day! I obviously never hesitate to talk about him. Thank you to the Nebraska Humane Society!
