‘My buddy and companion’ April 1, 2025

I had to put my beloved Coco down in August of 2023 due to heart failure. I only went a few days without a dog, as I’ve always had one since the 90’s.

A friend convinced me to check out Nebraska Humane Society. I looked over their site and saw a few dogs I was interested in, so I set up an appointment. The dogs I chose to check out were not a good fit, but the woman assisting me suggested I check out Benny. I did, and it was a good match!

So, on Aug. 7, 2023, I adopted the sweetest, lovable, most friendly guy. He’s been my buddy and companion since that day!
