Leia filled the gap March 12, 2025

I brought home Harvest, now named Leia, on Sunday, Jan. 12, to join my older dog, Sophie, and I.

Sophie had lost her big sister and best friend, Bailey (a lab mix), to cancer back in August of 2024. While we were doing well as a family of two, we knew there was something, or rather someone, missing.

Leia has filled that gap so well in just a few days that it feels like she’s been with us forever! She is quickly picking up on new commands, the routines, and taking redirection from Sophie. She is also quite the cuddle bug when she’s ready for a quiet moment!
