‘I will forever cherish her memory’ May 16, 2025

“We adopted Adelaide (NHS Myra) from NHS in June 2010. She was about 8 weeks old and extremely feisty, having been mouthy with the family who met her before us. She was a bit of a chomper with us, too, but we decided to take her home.

She lived nine years at my parents’ house before she moved in with me after I graduated college. She became my constant companion, even joining me at work for a while. Adelaide passed in October 2023 at 13 years old. Her whole life she was the sweetest, weirdest and most honest friend a guy could have. She loved clothes, car rides and delivery pizza almost as much as she hated getting wet and eating dog food without a sprinkle of cheese on top. I think about her every day and while her loss still stings, I will forever cherish her memory. Till we meet again, pretty girl 💗”
