‘I stopped into NHS just to look’ July 17, 2025

“One day, about 18 years ago, I stopped into the Nebraska Humane Society just to look. I came upon a tiny black and white mini aussie. She was about 12 weeks old and an owner surrender.

I brought her home to my two daughters, and we all fell in love with her. We named her Allie, and she spent the next 15 years of her life with us. I tell people that she raised my daughters. We lost her three years ago and miss her dearly.”
