‘I collect donations for the Nebraska Humane Society’ July 16, 2025

“I love animals. Every year on July 16, I collect donations for the Nebraska Humane Society in honor of my birthday. Every year, I have many friends and family involve themselves if only to donate a dollar to show the love. 

Last year, I collected hundreds of dollars more than previously and was blown away. 

I try to visit the Nebraska Humane Society once a week to go visit the cats and dogs and potentially find another buddy to love. I lost my mom in 2012, and I was able to care for her two kitties, Bo and Sissy. They both have since departed, and I miss them dearly. I appreciate all that everyone does at the Nebraska Humane Society. Thank you.”
