Our Barks and Rec program gives shelter dogs a much-needed break and the chance to meet wonderful new people like you! Enjoy the perks of bonding with a furry friend, getting some fresh air and knowing you're making a positive impact on their lives.
How it works
- Use our matchmaking form to sign up and schedule a time to pick up your buddy.
- Take one of our adorable and adoptable shelter dogs for quality hangout time.
- Check here for some ideas on where to go!
- If you're taking a dog on a staycation, we'll provide you with all the needed supplies!
- Fill out the PAWSport to document your adventures with your shelter friend!
- After your adventure, fill out a brief survey about how it went and submit any photos you might've taken! If you post about your adventure on your own Facebook page, tag us and we'll share it.
- If you decide to adopt or connect us with a potential adopter, the adoption fee is on us.
