Ernie dedicates his life to helping people & pets May 2, 2025

“I’d love to highlight Ernie Starry. Ernie was an Animal Control Officer at NHS for over 22 years. He dedicated his career to helping people and pets and continues to do so in his retirement. Every Friday, rain or shine, he volunteers at Pet Food Pantry. Sometimes, he does Pantry on the Move, as well. He distributes the food based on our guidelines and has already distributed over 50,000 pounds of food in 2025!”
